When I did my Duraburb in 2017 we couldn't find an easy spot for a fuel cooler, so I don't run one at all. Fuel temps are basically identical to my truck, even when the fuel light is on (fuel light takes 32 gallons to fill the 35 gallon tank).

I don't tow heavy with the Suburban, but I do tow a travel trailer and the occasional broken down truck behind it, never had a problem.

I suspect any fuel cooler you get on there is as good or better than the stock one, which IMO isn't even needed.

I'm not too worried about a fuel cooler right now, especially heading into winter.

I've thought about picking up a banks I-dash to monitor fuel temps and other parameters.
I know my LMM dually would avg 180-190° while towing with no cooler
I forget at what temp the ECM derates for high fuel temp

I haven’t ran a cooler in 4 years or so? Mine started leaking while we’re in the middle of our move and I forgot about it until I read this. ?

Well sanded-ish cleaned the dirt off.. vac attachment doesn't pull all the dust up, but solid 75-80% of it..
1 24oz Rust-Oleum can does 95% of both sides,
It's 80° out so I should get couple coats on it. I have some gloss black I'll probably paint the bottom with.

So Adams cheap version of the old macco 200$ paint job?
1st coat

Also check tune, ECM starts pulling rail pressure from 180mpa at 230°F

Back when I was 17, I took my F-85 to Earl to get it painted after a very large amount of DIY bodywork. The color chart I picked my color from wasnt even close to the final color on the car, but for $49.95 (at the time), who was I to complain?

Took the 8/29-9/8 off so
Made some progress today
Really hate how rough this rides without the 1700lb block on the back..think I'll make a brick that I can set over the GN coupler then use the GN hitch to hold it in the bed.. probably 3'*4'*6".. 1 cubic foot of concrete ~140-145lbs

No one local stocks 6-12, 1-10 7 wire, so that projects waits till I order it.
Picked up fitting for the aux tank, need to get a 3/8" ball valve to shut it off.

It was 22 rivets needed to come out.. definitely appreciate 80gl air tank and long barrels air hammer lol
