I just wanted to thank you for your help and update you on the diagnosis because sometimes it's nice to find out what the problem ended up being. After I stopped posting to that thread I let the truck sit for months because I was busy then finally called a mechanic to check injector flow rates and he said that I had fuel pressure but #6 and #7 were stuck open.
I replaced all 8 injectors.
Just today, finally, I started up the truck and she sounds great. My lesson learned is that I should invest in a high quality scan tool and get the proper readings before trying other methods of diagnosis.
