I am having the hardest time ever in my business with parts. I constantly get the wrong parts and have to send them back. I feel as though there are new people fulfilling the orders and they just don’t know the difference.

I screwed up on this.. it clearly states 2pks

I'm probably sending the 2" back and get 2.25" version

Haven't made much progress.. life threw curve.. surprise..
going harder on paying the last ~3200 on the truck note off.

Also missed the flat floor on the suburban...
Found some 3/8 plywood, made a raised flat floor, and braces out of some 2*2 and 2*4s.

Just been dealing with shitty shocks and slightly out of aligned truck.. for now.

Random side note.. I've put ~5000 miles on it since it was wrecked.. which would put my suburban over 500k ?

mpg is floating ~16mpg pending idle time.

Well found a fix for limited fuel capacity...
Scored a RDS 60gl tank off FBMP for 375..
Little bigger than I wanted.. was looking for. ~30gl vs giving me 45-50 useable gallons

Trailer harness annoyed me for the last time.. between running new 8ga battery wire and a new 12ga brake signal wire.. using a dumby plug to figure where I'm dropping power.

Need to get a better female plug so I can run 10/1-12/2-14/4 from the box all the way to the bumper plug.

I like that.

Never did like the 7 way trailer connectors either. Not very reliable. I've thought about going with something else. But then I'd have trouble with other trailers or have to make an adapter.

I've had some trouble with the connector behind the bumper before. If it happens again I might do as you did there

Connector on the bumper is usually first to go internally. Usually ground, brake, battery + circuit fail internally.

I don't like the fact GM ran 18ga wire for the lights 12-14ga for bat/brake/ground then put 30/40 fuse on them??‍♂️

I like the Pollak 7 way plugs. I hook wires up with #8 eyelet wire crimp inside the plugs.
#8 10-12 eyelets are harder to find on the shelf than #10 eyelets

All my stuff is 7-way flat

About the only connectors out there that seem to be worth owning are the Pollaks. Instead of the 7 way rv style, Kinda wish the industry had followed the class 8 trailers with the round pin ones.

They all have issues, seems that the round pin ones are hooked and unhooked a lot more than the blade style and hold up longer (no experience with the round pin ones) since those can get connected and disconnected a lot more frequently.

Nice score. I've been running that same tank for 6 or 7 years. Still added an s&b 62 underneath. It's nice not having to stop for fuel all day.

Shortened the old frame up to liftable 6-7' sections.
Tentatively I suppose to pick up a 900 series RC C&C frame with a 84" cab to axle or ~160"wb tomorrow.
