    3" djm lca

I have the full DJM 3/5 kit, and it still has about an inch of rake. The front rides like stock, I like it. I used the front bump stop that came with the kit, doesn't bottom out or hit anything.

    Twins with Twins, Anyone?

That is some awesome stuff, the adjustable extension box is sweet. This boat is going to be bad ass when it's done.

    Twins with Twins, Anyone?

Are those a #6 gimbal housing, or is that all Weismann stuff? Those drives look awesome. Were Arneson's not an option for this? Bad ass project, serious dream of mine to have a Duramax powered boat.

3 to 4 stutter on built tranny

Pretty sure my truck does the same thing. Evan, is there a TCM tune version that you would recommend? I had a buddy that works at a dealership flash mine with the latest update when I had him learn the trans for me.

    Air bags

There is no c-notch, those are the rails for the B&W Turnover Ball. The notch looking things are the bag mounts, it still has a full frame. Not for long though. There is only about 1.5" between the axle pad and the bump stop, I'm going to notch it in preparation for doing a 4 link and air ride...

    Pcv idea

I have a catch can on my truck, it works great. I didn't want the drip in my driveway from open air PCV.

    Wheel/tire combo with 3" lower

My 22x9.5 Fuel Mavericks have a +20 (or +25, can't remember) offset and they are perfectly flush in the front. Had to add a 1.5" spacer in the back to make them flush. Tires are 305/40-22

Helper bags with a 3/5 drop

None at all. I hauled a car home yesterday, ran 20 psi in the bags. They are working awesome.

    lowering

I have 22x9.5 with a +25 offset and they are perfectly flush with the fenders. 3/5 drop with 305/40s and they just barely rub the sway bar at full lock. I did have to trim the inner fender liners.

Swapping a used built trans worth it?

Can anyone tell me what the bell housing bolt torque is? I'm finally doing this swap tomorrow.

    Question: Fuel Wheels

I have a set of Fuel wheels in the PVD chrome. They look awesome and it holds up like powder coating. If you get them in a non-bro offset, they look great.

Thanks for the compliments. I spent hours measuring and searching to be sure they'd be flush. I've got a 1.5" spacer in the back, that made a huge difference.

Swapping a used built trans worth it?

Ordered trim valve and shift valve springs from ATP today....getting closer.

Swapping a used built trans worth it?

That's how I'm going to justify it. Hopefully it will last a while, truck has no tuning right now, waiting till I get the head gaskets/studs done.

Swapping a used built trans worth it?

I'm well accustomed to the snow ball and the hill. I've only owned the truck since the middle of October and it was bone stock when I bought it.

Swapping a used built trans worth it?

Another question, what sort of fluid should I use? I know it calls for dex/merc, but should I run Transsynd or something like that? I'm doing both filters while it's apart for the valve body/internal harness swap.

Swapping a used built trans worth it?

I drove the truck today, it holds power just fine. I know its an awesome deal, but you know how hours of forum reading goes.... your brand new truck needs a motor after a while. I just needed someone else to tell me it's all going to be okay. I can do the swap at my uncles shop, two lifts right...

Swapping a used built trans worth it?

I have the opportunity to get a trans that was built by Scott at SDP. I just have to swap it out of my buddies truck and swap my stock one into his. The trans has about 40,000 on it, no racing, just towing a 6,000 lb boat and occasionally driving like a dick on Rob's tunes. The donor truck is an...
