Just dont get the 8 speed. Even the 6 speed has its issues in the newer trucks but are for sure the most reliable from gm
True story.

Why we evolved past 6 speed transmissions just blows my mind.

But it’s a money game anymore. Not a reliability game. Also the new trucks are huge.
As I’m sure you know the limo probably feels small compared to the limo 2.0.

Bring back v8 terrible fuel mileage reliable trucks. Look at Toyotas 5.7 6 speed. Sure they have failures. Terrible fuel economy. But damn they are solid.

This site will probably crash because im about to say this but…

2500-3500, 17-19 l5p is a really decent truck. Would not get a 2020+ because… trans. Same with ford. 16-19 ford with the 6r140 and good maintenance papers to back it.

1500, really hard to beat a ford f150 with the 5.0 and 6r80 trans. Or a toyota tundra. I know of alot of construction companies that run the hell out of those trucks and they last. The 10 speed is junk unless it has the most recently updated trans.

If you dont NEED the diesel, stay gas. So much cheaper in the long run

Dodge just fuckin sucks.

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

The 10 speed is a great trans. I love selling 1-2 month at 5k+ a pop.

Thanks guys. I feel very blessed to have walked away with a few minor scrapes and a sore back and neck; hopefully I'm able to fully heal quickly. The safety features and engineering in newer vehicle is pretty impressive. There are a lot of things that could have gone wrong in the accident, but I'm grateful it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Did they just legalize deletes? Will our tuners be able to start up again? My 2018 is finally out of warranty, so i would like to do some egr and DPF preventative maintenance.

Its probably the best thing the Trump Admin has done so far.

BUT -- you all know the environuts literally ran to Federal Court and are trying to get some liberal district judge to issue an injunction stopping the new rules from being implemented.

Happened recently in my buddies 23 F150. Ford just swaps them out. They told him they keep every version of that trans in stock and they just swap them out. They don't work on them at all. Sad thing is the rear end blew up a few weeks earlier for the second time. First time they replaced the whole unit under warranty. Now he is out of warranty. But its a company owned truck so its there problem and there expense.... lol

Since there looks to be a warm period starting mid Feb, figured I'd best go clean out the cattails around the pond. I typically use an excavator every five or six years, but that's a messy job. However when it's a foot thick ice, I was thinking about using a lawn mower. Then all the snow in yard melted yesterday when it hit 50F, and I said it's now or never..

Neighbors all thought I was nuts running a weedeater on ice yesterday. Today I broke out the rake, couple cans of stating fluid, and lit 5 big piles on fires.. Was a bit sketchy around the drain due to the melt runoff. Besides that, see me for more pond care tips...
:p
