Don't want to start a huge argument, but there might be something to this new Power Service gold fuel treatment after all.
Have used it on two full tanks now, and while these observations are only anecdotal without data to back them up, Ive noticed a few things.
1) Engine is running smoother than at any time since I bought the truck last Feb.
2) Acceleration has seemed to have returned. It isnt a total disappointment off the line any more. Not using as much pedal to get up to speed.
3) MPG has remained steady, even with winter fuel. (MPG in this truck is very poor anyway, but it hasnt gotten worse due to winter fuel.)
4) I have only noticed one regen, on the first tankful. I have not noticed one yet on this second tank, and they are very noticeable on this truck.
Again, its all just anecdotal, but IMO it hasn't been money-thrown-away, either. I'll keep using it for as long as I keep the truck.
Speaking of that, I found a '16 gas Sierra the other day that I liked. May go look at it.
