    Getting a Dyno

    I've been tossing around the idea of getting a dyno for the past few months and decided to pull the trigger on new Dynomite wide roller eddy-current 3000 chassis dyno. It will be a nice addition the shop and I'm looking forward to playing around with it :D

    New Denali

    We bought a 15 Denali 2 weeks ago. I don't ever want to get out of the thing. I put some new rims and tires on it Friday. I'm going to try my best not to mess with it to much but we will see how long that lasts :D

    Main seal installer

    Has any had any luck installing the front and rear main seals without the GM tool? I can't see spending the money for something I would almost never use but if I have to I have to.

    What compression ratio?

    It's time for me to order pistons and I thought I had my mind made up with a 16.5:1 compression ratio but figured I would get some input before ordering. The truck will see alot of street miles in the summer time only and will have 100 overs and s475/gt55 twins when it goes back together.

    Productive day off.

    2 piece to 1 piece driveshaft.

    The pinion yolk broke and sent the rear driveshaft for a ride down the road in my 01 cc/sb ruining the drive shaft and slip yolk in the process. I was wondering if I could use the one peice driveshafts from one of the newer cc/sb.

    I just wanted to comment on how great this turbos street manners are incase others were looking at running a bigger single on the street. I was running a s464 before and as a comparision the lag is not that bad and it drives great. When it spools all I can say is wow , i'm very impressed...

    Does anyone know where to get a intake boot that reduces from 5.5 inches to 5 inches?
