    1R0749 filter head I run the 1R0750 filter it is smaller and alot easier to fit under the bonnet the 1R0749 will fit the same base its just alot longer and fatter filter , there are heaps of different CAT filter bases that you can use this is a common 3406 truck engine p/n:1n3789 Jeff

    Hey Heath the compressors are denso they use standard R134A pad fittings get onto lovelocks or some other auto air places they sell all the R134A pad fittings hose etc, what are you fitting the duramaxes too? Jeff

    Apply shop air regulated to about 10psi directly into the turbo inlet then take a spray bottle with soapy liquid and spray around all the joints if you have a leak you will find it! and dont worry about the air escaping out of the motor it doesnt we do this on Cat 793`s V sixteens always works Jeff

    Just wondering if there is any advantage to running a cooler thermostat in the LBZ duramax just ran a log and the temp average was 89 degrees celcius is this normal? What is the stock thermostat rated at ?
