PPEI Next On The Chopping Block???

Would not surprise me if the federal government shut down EFI live or motor ops. The DOJ raided Kim dotcoms house in New Zealand, they went after the creators of.pirate bay too. All people who were operating out of country and always have been. Although it was a very difficult process I...

    LB7: Biggest turbo

Yeah that's crazy. I see some people here and there talk 96 turbines on their setups. Seems very few in-between that guys often share anything about them. With my setup I never had the tuning dialed in to match the turbo so I always hated it. But now thats changed and I'm actually happy with the...

    LB7: Biggest turbo

Ahh ok that makes sense now. How do you like driving that on the street by chance? I could definitely see that setup being a solid one for sled pulls.

    LB7: Biggest turbo

What made you go t6 instead of a t4? I'm running a 75/96 with I believe a 1.0 t4 housing and I can't see the benifit of going t6 single even in a full comp truck.

    LMM: Ppe fuel pickup

I just fallowed the directions for the lbz install. No problems venting but it comes with a minor inconvenience having to hold the fuel nozzle out a little bit when filling. Other wise it just fills the tank a little slower.

    Silencing a 96 turbine

Holy hell I can only imagine trying to drive 3-4 hours with all that drone. Yeah I just got new tunes from starlight as well. It seems like my shift points are in the 3800 range with maybe a 4200rev. I ran into a few hiccups during our tuning session. My oil cap wasn't seated and lost it...

    Silencing a 96 turbine

It's just a standard two piece from hsp. 3.5 to a 4" elbow pipe. It's mounted in the valley with a t4 exhaust housing. Not sure what the AR is though.

    Silencing a 96 turbine

I had found the hard way that a 4" with a 30" FTE is way to restrictive for a 475/96 turning 4k+ rpms. My tuner told me 96mm flow alot of exhaust which I believe him because I couldn't go over 80mph at wot until the clamp to the muffler came loose and shot that off lol. So I'm kinda set on a...

    Built Motor TurnAround Time?

Building a motor is a process, you can’t rush quality. But with that being said you as a customer need to be in the loop of what’s going on when things are going good and not just when a problem comes up. Also another big factor is the current state of the engine being built or if you have a...

    Losing boost

Are you not hearing any abnormal sounds from the engine? My guess would be you have developed an exhaust leak around that sinister block off plate causeing you to lose back pressure, or sticking vanes. Would hurt to take a quick peek under the hood to see if you can find any exhaust leaks.

    Running a single battery

Single red top battery here in south east Idaho with a 16.1:1 compression ratio. Not sure if that would have a positive affect when it’s cold or not? But if I don’t let the glow plugs warm up and just jump in and start it, it sounds like an old Detroit lol that’s the only “minor” issue I could...

    Cryo heat?

Very true. But anybit helps ya know. it's just something that caught my eye and got me wondering if that would be an alternative to buying bilet inputs and outputs or if people went the distance and cryo treated billet parts.

    Cryo heat?

Would you say that the cryo would prove to extend the life of shafts and hard parts of that nature?

    Cryo heat?

Yes it is. This company does a lot of different stuff. I was just curious if anybody is doing this to input shafts and planetarys and so forth as well.
