The sump made that difference[emoji106]. They are crazy loud if you go to the quick connects at the fuel cooler. Love them for that!- lil bleur

2017 Duramax
I could be wrong, but that has to be a misprint. The Tier 3 QSB7 Cummins engines that we do here at work on our generators don't have any of that downwind exhaust stuff and they still are using the ancient HX35W turbos. We don't have any VGT/SCR stuff other than on our Tier 4 final units. I... -

And I thought Cat 3516s were big Lol. I wondered if it wasn't for peak shaving, its surprising how much of that gets done...especially in the summer. O and btw it is a V16...I had counted the ports in the intake manifold, but I just realized it has only 8 heads on a side.- lil bleur

What did you do at work today?
Had fun setting up another new unit for load test a couple weeks ago. Its a 56L V16 Guascor. Runs on Natural Gas. Has a 13,800V Generator. We had to transform that down to 480V which is what our load bank operates on.- lil bleur

I have changed my view of Snap-On vs. Milwaukee in the last couple months. I was die hard Snap-On for years, but 6 months ago I changed jobs. Stock 01 TCM Tune
May I get one as well? I got a weird shifting 04 W/ built trans I'm working on right now. It shifts great on Stock Trans Tunes, but just never seems to figure out the Max Effort Tunes even on a fast relearn. This might not fix my problem, but may be worth a try...- lil bleur

Lol Yeh the Tier 4s suck to build if nothing else. All the after treatment junk adds a decent chunk of labor to a unit compared to a Tier 3. We figure 120-160hrs to build a Tier 3 Cummins Stud Welder vs. 250-300 for a Tier 4. Come 2017 and we'll only get to do the Tier 4s:(. We are checking into...- lil bleur

I bet! I have no experience with boat engines, but I know that the Guascor 56L Bio-Gas engines I've overhauled are fun. They were only 1MW at the max though. Still 1430hp on Spark Plugs...running off cow manure... isn't too bad:D.- lil bleur
