Anyone have a geuss as to what the proper direction would be on these pistons
I would be willing to bet the sloped side goes above the oil squirter so it helps direct the flow of oil to the top of the rod. Kind of a ricochet type thing.
You will notice a notch in the piston skirt on the one side of the piston. It is for oil squirter clearance. The skirt with no notch faces the valley.
Sorry my bad . I didn't see the other notch. I would guess the the angled section goes over the oil jet then. It seems odd that they would make the piston reversible. You would think they would angle both sides under the crown too???
Is there a notch on top Simon?
Check if the valve reliefs are the same/symmetric. Intakes would be a touch smaller and would be to the right looking from the top.
