Thought you guys would like this.

My LBZ RC is all stock, nothing weight wise removed. work truck, manual everything. on 305/50/20's and 20x9's. "regular truck" Both weights with me in the truck with full tank of fuel

Lb7 is, um, well nothing much left.

LBZ weight.

6400lbs
4050 front-----2550 rear

LB7 weight.

5600lbs
3600 front-----2000 rear

800 lb difference
Just goes to show you how much weight you can get out of these trucks for racing. the 5600lb race weight is on the radials, and before I removed the torsion bar assembly, so the difference will be around 850-875lb difference once those are done.

Wow, that nice Bri! I went from 6040lbs when I first got my truck down to the current weight of 5850lbs without losing any of the creature comforts. I removed springs and went to a one piece driveshaft and removed the crossmember that held the carrier bearing. I also remove the hitch and bumper for the rollpan. It adds up quickly buddy! With you being 4x4 is even more impressive!:thumb:

I have no idea how your math works Brian. 4050 + 2550 does not come to 6400. Means you lost more than 800 Lbs.

I had 200lbs of tires/rims in the bed at the time of the scale, so that's why I was over by 200 :spit: Sorry!

LBZ was 3950 front- 2450 rear.

My RC/LB LBZ with me in it race trim could get down to 5850 with me in it. It still had everything including the ac. Full factory int. with roll bar. At the time I was 300 lbs. I have a LB7 RC/LB I need to weigh just to see what it is.

Weighed my full weight reg cab zf-6 the other day.. 6460 with me in it. I'm 200#. 20" wheels 10 ply tires, half tank fuel and all my normal crap I carry around. So I guess the zf is pretty close on weight to the Allison's

Where are you guys pulling the weight from?

I weighed in at 6240 without me in it, tailgate on, 1/4 tank of diesel, B&W gooseneck hitch still in it, on factory 245's. I removed the factory receiver hitch, spare tire, and second battery. Haven't done much else yet for weight reduction.

Passenger seat while racing
Tow hooks
Spare tire hanger
Lose the tailgate while racing
trade bumper for roll pan
empty your washer fluid while racing
empty and remove glove box ( i always had alot of crap in mine.)
Wheel and tire combo makes a huge difference. BMF's are light for a 20, but still heavy when compared to some other sizes and options.

It all adds up!

It really doesnt matter what brians RC tow truck weights, my tow truck will beat it .

what would be funny is if brian disguised his LBZ to look like the LB7. lot of people would be scared of it not knowing :roflmao:

Simple enough. I only see about 300-350lbs listed there though. Anything else removed or maybe cut out?
