So did you or didn't you do a bottle test? I know a buddy of mine blew his FPRV at the track and his rail pressure dropped to somewhere around 12k (on an LBZ). If you haven't checked it yet, I think you should.

Same symptoms here...thanks for the info!

No, bottle test not conducted yet. I'm going to bypass the test and just shim the FPRV...anyone have a vice, 18mm wrench and 300ft. lbs of torque they can lend me...?!??!:rofl:

When you go to shim it I would make sure you look at the valve and the seat to make sure it isn't damaged, and to make sure there isn't some trash in there keeping it from sealing up.

how do you dothe bottle test, i have an issue with my trucks rail pressure, normal driving it floats 3500 psi to 9500 psi desired , as soon as i lay in in wot it doesn't go past 3500 psi desired on my ppe tuner where it should be 21,000 to 24,000 psi .my ppe pump is working but it seems to be getting louder.help please

Hey Guss I will walk you thru how to bottle test over the phone when I call you in the am.Did you ever get a chance to see what the pressure was set at on the lift pump?

Need to add a fuel pressure gauge,You can have it at the pump but I like mine as close to the cp3 as I can get a reading.All the ppe is telling you is what the truck is asking for and what the truck is getting at the rail for pressure.
