Here's to a Happy USA 250th birthday!

What all have you guys got going on the 4th?
We are having what's turned into a Family tradition at our house -- big party with family and friends in our backyard, grilling and games during the day, fireworks at dusk.

(And yes, I started this chat really early because I'm calling it an early night. Got a trip up north tomorrow morning early)

Safe travels up north tomorrow tomorrow. Staying around the house for the 4th and doing fireworks and bbq'n. Turn 47 yrs young 10 minutes before the 4th of July.

I think I'm going to be hosting the BBQ this year for the family. Too many restrictions for fireworks and the cost has gotten out of control. Of the family doesn't bring anything I'll probably head up a hill with the GF to watch them over the city. There is a location where we can watch several cities do their big shows

Going to the mountain. I will be in Walland, Tenn. planning on some tubing, going to the Chattanooga aquarium and a trip through cades cove.

Im just hoping we dont have rain. Its not often we get storms on the 4th, but right now its possible. Been in the 90s and humid all week, and that weather energy buildup usually doesnt end well.

Probably climb a grain bin and watch the surrounding shows for fireworks.

Big plan is putting the engine/transmission m back in my wagon this weekend, with possibilities of getting it running

The town I live in does a huge fireworks display at a park a few miles away. I climb up on the roof and get a decent view to enjoy. Will be cooking for about 20, swimming and cornhole. Enjoy and everyone be safe out there.

Planning on going out in the SXS and watching fireworks all over. We have a localish development that puts on a hell of a show

Likely headed North a bit to take some nephews out to ride dirt bikes (they’re from out of town), then some pool fun and a firework show.

Did a co drive event at Nurburgring in a gt63 amg pro. Holy fuck was that cool! Driver pushed that car as fast as it would go. Tried catching some race gt3rs cars but they just corner way faster. I think the driver gets alot of people sick cause he kept asking me if i was good and i finally said “drive this thing as hard as you can man! I want the whole experience!” And he turned it on. Passed mclareons, lambos, porches, and lots of bmw’s. Today was a rented track day so alot less traffic and he said “when we get a guy running our pace, we get to act like we are racing cause traffic is low. This is the best”. Sure as fuck was!

What a bucket list check off. Never thought it would ever make that list lol

That sounds like a blast, James! Checking out the Nurburgring is the one thing I didn't do when I was in Germany last year that I wish I had, but since I have a sister living in Germany, there's a chance I will end up going back at some point unless she moves before I get the chance to visit again.
