Thanks Tom! My last trip around the sun was pretty good. I'm looking forward to what the next one will bring. It's funny how what you consider old changes as you age. I remember as a kid thinking someone in their mid 40s was so old, but now that I'm 44, it doesn't seem that old to me anymore.

I remember when everyone on here was giving you shit for turning 30 and “feeling old”. Now youre deep into 40’s and im sitting here knocking on its door

Its treated as a "bonus", so fed tax rate is 22%. Add in FICA, state and local, and it'll be about 45% taxes. Still better than nothing. They're also moving my retirement date up to August 31st.

Worked on my FBMP pressure washer score some from a couple years ago.. battery finally died. Made new cables with sodder eyelets.
Tag on the gas tank says 3500psi at 4.8gpm..
New regulator rated for 12gpm and 4500psi
With a 5.5 tip nozzle regulator bypass about 10% of the water. While only making 3100psi.
Haven't figured out what pressure washer pump is actually on there. There is 1300hrs on the hour meter.

Made new inlet pipe added a Tee for the bypass water.. got a 3 way L-port valve coming, allow me to keep the pump cool.

Closest pump I've found is a general pump TSF1819 that's capable of 4300/6gpm
Kinda like to know if the pump is going out on my 500.00 score

I have a pump head that looks just like that one. Would have to look to see if there is any labels to know what make and model. Supposed to be brand new. Got it free from a Sherwin Williams when they were closing a branch. Been sitting in my garage for the last 7 years or so. I was told it was a 4.8 gpm 4500 psi, if I remember correctly.

Yep. You couldnt see the house bc of the overgrowth. The house is actually in really good shape, just not taken care of for about 10 years.

Been a cool summer out here. Boy has been begging me to ride his dirtbike and it was 77* out this morning so why not.

While i watched him rip around the house, figured I’d clean up the corner at the back of the property. Then he stopped and ask “can we build a jump?” Fuck it, damn right we can. Yanked the tractor out. Had him get on it and go load up some cinder blocks. Still in his full riding gear (minus helmet), he loaded 3 blocks in the bucket At a time and moved them where i needed them. Put him on hose duty while i started digging in the tractor and building it. Hour later i ran out of dirt so left it as is. Jumps back on his pw50 and proceeds to launch off it to flat, swerves twice and wrecks but damn he was stoked. He throttled back after that . Boys 6 and has no fear . Im gunna need more dirt. Be nice if my dirt wasnt so full of rocks
