at this point, I'd believe it, haha, if I didn't already know how long it takes to get 1 pump built from Shane. It did scare me a little when I was told that II built my pump in a day to overnight it to me. They bent over backwards for Henry, and I can't thank him enough, I just can't deal with them directly or else I get homicidal.

I've been waiting on mine for a little while now. They say then have to wait to get a core to build mine.

Ok we keep cp3 pumps on hand to send in when we sell a pump and there out and just hold the core charge. Same for the injectors we try to keep a supply of them on hand.

The way you do it actually makes sense. I don't understand why II wouldn't have a surplus of them so they can build them and get them out the door faster.

why dont you send in an lbz pump and get an lbz pump back it will come back with a brand new fpr rite on it and they dont care if the old 1 comes in with it or not

just a thougth should be able to buy a cheap bad pump for core

You wont get an lbz pump back unless you specify it. LBZ pumps cost more and take longer to build because of the DLC coating on the parts, as I understand it. Shane has a thread here about it.

The truck is a dd. And I'm in the military. They always have me going place to place. So I HAVE to be able to get around. Or they will hang me with my scrotum.

Nice. Hopefully I get the same luck that you did. How was the install? Do you have any pointers you could share with me? Also, did you port your fuel fittings while you were in there?

Just out of curiosity why does anyone go with a modded single instead of dual stock pumps? Is it really that much cheaper when you factor in the sacrificed reliability?

I took the compressor cover off the turbo, and the intake bridge out, not sure if this is right way,but it came right out,the big o-ring on the pump were it goes into the block was VERY tight,i had to rock it with two prybars to break it loose, the inlet fitting was drilled on the drivers side rail about 2 years ago, i never did anything with the passenger side,

Why did you take the compressor housing off? You couldn't get the bridge out with it on?

I'm only going this route because my stocker is absolutely a POS. holds an amazing 10k psi lol sometimes dropping as low as 8k.
When I get dual fuelers, ill put a stock one in it's place and the modded one out on top for ease of service.

I see, i was just wondering as it seems like modded cp3's are unreliable at best regardless of manufacturer. I will definitely be going with dual stock pumps when it is time for me to upgrade.
