wow definitely a great buy foster!! Any pics of how you moved the bridgeport???

got it up on 1" pipes to roll it out of the guys garage (he said it only weighed 800lbs, more like 1500lbs)

then picked it up with my engine hoist, was able to lift it up just high enough to back my trailer under it, then winched it forward on the trailer.

unloading wouldnt have worked so easily, so had my neighbor come down with his backhoe and lifted it right off and set it in the garage. but i'm sure you could back in under your lift and use that to lift it off a trailer.

the lathe was easy, only about 400lbs.

Very cool.

I ran Bridgeports just like that (4-speed? 0.200" per rev XY, and 0.100" per rev on the saddle) for about 10 years. My first serious job was as a mill machinist.

Holly hell you made out like a bandit, I would love to have that mill in my shop, and the lathe is nice unit also. Great job

The Tig is an awsome piece of equipment the old syncrowave's are some of my favorite units. They have plenty of juice and are very reliable. Hell with that much rod tungsten and cups I assume a few leads also?? You've got easily well over 1000 bucks there.
