We hope so, the horses are fortunately ok. Our Maincoon and her friend a norwegian wood cat stay in rhe coolest room in our house. We have no HVAC System here as usually we dont need it.
I am born and raise up in cologne. Enjoy the town. Its a great town. But i love the countyside and the sea and so i move up more in the north.
I was not almost silly these day with the heatwave.
My job as employee is not an option. But my employer allow me to use the tools and machines from the company for my own private projects after finishing my work. I was checked before that i do it really for my privat project after i have now the second Pickup Truck in Progress. Also the Authoritys knocked at my door checking if i run a business about my high import Volume. I could sucessful testify that i do it just for my own enjoy
without intention to make profit.
So i sandblasted the first two brackets from the dashskeleton for repaint.
I have still some brackets to pull from the skeleton for sandblasting and repainting.

I hadn't much Progress yesterday as i had first an appointment for the annual (every 2 years) technical checkup for my car and trailer. It is here necessary to go through this checkup to continue roadregistration. Checkup is on all safety related issues, additional exhaustemmissions for enginepowerd vehicles.
Schedulded are 30min for each vehicle. The engineer need more than 90 min to finish sucessful both. Its not up of problems. The engineer is older and done any check twice to be sure. Thats ok for me if he need this time but other in the lane become angry...
How ever i got our new labels on the plates and payed my bill. Its immediatly obvisiously if you pass the test and have roadregistration for police and anyone else.
Top shown the sucessful test and when the next is schedulded -》July 2028 and bottom shown where its registrated.
Every year the label for technical test have a different color.
Its expensive and not an option but it make our traffic and roads safer.
The rest of the time i used to build the undercarriage for the bed.
A lot of to prepare and the time run out before i could finished it.

Needed some adjustment on the undercarriage as we missed the fact that inside the bed are wheelcases....
Come smoothly down - so time to rearrange the shop again. Renting a bigger shop were a solution but i know 4 weeks after moving it it will fill up again with more projects....

Just after lunch welding some stabilizer in. The feet dont bend but the bed will be cleaned outside in front of the shop and i have to push over driveway-stones... just to be on the safe side ....

Our granddaughter want visit with us today an adventure park, so i am pretty sure i will not have time to select and order what we need for the engine today.
622 calender days until retirement. I really cant wait finally have all time i want for our projects.
you have to go outside if you dont want always clean everything in the shop when you do a grinding job
i will n not suffer iron deficiency anemia for a while...
this bed need a lot of more care than the 40 y. old bed of the chevy... Fortunately it had got formely a thick manufactores painting, otherwise there would be nothing left
it will not be done in just a weekend all money i spare on gym, as i got my workouts already in the shop will go in the truck

My 40years old angle grinder decided yesterday to die. For a cheap black&decker hobby grinder with just 700 Watt did he a good job in the last 40 years. Saw several vehicles in rebuild 
.
However i need a new one. In the past i went to a shop and have 2 maybe 3 options. Today no shop more near by and online it seems to be endless.... I have good expierence with Makita Products. Good quality with excellent price-performance-ratio. I choose now a professional grinder with 1300 Watt.
I have another big Flex professional grinder but its not handy for that job and the Makita Accugrinder is not powerful enough.
.However i need a new one. In the past i went to a shop and have 2 maybe 3 options. Today no shop more near by and online it seems to be endless.... I have good expierence with Makita Products. Good quality with excellent price-performance-ratio. I choose now a professional grinder with 1300 Watt.

I wonder if just the brushes are worn out on the grinder?
That was my first thought too. But with a new brush after just 2/3 attemps rise up the vibrations so hard that you can't hold without getting dump hands. So i guess the bearings are done.
We had bought this grinder about a famely member which was employee by Black&Decker 40y ago. He had access on specialprices by staff discount. This tool has paid itself a hundred times over. A nightmare for any seller

My employer used to throw tools away, if they have no further use for it. They ask me always if i want this tools before they throw it away.
So i am in the happy situation that i got a lot of useful tools for less money as my employer have just no more further use for it.
You can`t image how much is purchased in the past which have after a short time no more further use.... Since 10-15 years they start to be more careful in their investments.
Meanwhile the bed is in progress - slow but steady - the actual inventory for the shopping list for the engine begins:
The oilpump will also be on the list, but will be done after we finished the top
I am not sure if the new exhaust manifolds will use the old heatshields
One "washer" is gone, the other will not be better. Where can i got this new?
Any idea what`s leaking here?
