What I've noticed before this war thing, all the gas stations that were cheap prices are now the most expensive and all the expensive gas stations are cheaper than the cheap gas stations.

On a more positive note. My mom had a gorgeous rose garden. She probably had 25-30 different rose bushes. She and my wife would prune ours and here are a few nice pictures.

Prices will go down slower than they rose, thats for sure. Soak the consumer for as much as they can, I guess.
I look at it like this. If there's uncertainty in the market. As a trader I'm not going to be in a big hurry to drop rates just to increase them again the next day. That just adds to uncertainty IMO. Just the se as they probably don't raise them with every little spike.

Ahh end of the month safety meeting...
Seams some floor production guys bitched about the 4 drivers not wearing safety glasses...

Directly asked the safety man to articulate exact hazards that I'm at risk of walking through non production areas that legitimately warrant said safety measures.

Got "company policy" reply

To which, I followed up... then why are guys working the machines with non anzi rated prescription glasses?? Which BTW includes safety man.

To which he had no answer.

I guess it all depends on what OSHA would say, right?

I delivered to factories during my career, and never had to wear eye protection as long as I stayed in the dock area.

Anyone else paying attention to the NFL Draft this weekend?

Tom, OSHA would say this needs anti-slip mats to stand on

If a seasoned safety man can't articulate the actual hazards for said PPE requirement. I question the legitimacy of said safety requirements..

Im not interested in getting injured with unsafe safety requirements

We are required to wear safety shoes and glasses. Of course when the upper echelon rolls through they don't need it as long as they stay "in the walkways". Can't say I've seen any of the non-company drivers wearing any safety equipment

They instituted drivers having to wear yellow safety vests at UPS about 5 years ago. Some accident somewhere started it. I only wore one after a manager threatened to fire me for not.

Is that only while at the hub? Can't say I've ever seen our drivers wear one

Yeah, only required on property, although they did say, "Optional on route", too.

Got a text from an old coworker tonight. Got a couple guys taking advantage of the $150K buyout that was offered, and retiring tomorrow.....including the guy who took over my route just 8 short months ago.
When I go out garage sale-ing tomorrow afternoon up there, I know theres gonna be a lot of, "So are you coming back?" questions...... :ROFLMAO:
Theres something really cool about having people you arent related to that are that loyal to you.

Garage sale-ing was 5hrs of fun today. Found a lot of grandson clothes. Did a lot of catching up with a lot of friends.
Yankees and their garage saling.... lol When we lived up north that was kind of a neat thing to do but down here in the south it's one of the more unpleasant things we do. People nether selling a bunch of junk, and they think it's worth what they paid new for it. 75% of the time they don't speak and English. Not to mention everybody pretty much stops by 10 o'clock because it's starting to get too hot.
