7.3s are still slow. He has a lot more weight than you. Don't spool up just ease into it till you know you won't spin and hammer it. Soon as your turbos light you'll pull away:D

Like everyone is saying you should take the cake! If you cant run him in 4wd just tell him a 2wd roll race from about a 30 and if he is having trouble lighting up his setup you will have no problem what so ever pulling on him from a roll!

Yea from a roll would be sweet, you can hold the brakes a bit to bring your rpm up but shouldnt have too. You'll have no problem beating him. Take a video :thumb:

A 38r turbo spools faster then a stock 7.3 one. They are good to the 500-550 range. I have never heard of 130 over injectors. Most guys go by cc's and nozzle percentage. Either way he dont have a chance.

From a roll is fun if you have a lockup box... Little brake boost to spool her up and as soon as you nail to go it the box will lock and "she gone"!! :woott::D

You have to make sure to manually put it in a lower gear so it does fall under the power curve when the lock up box locks. Just depends on the mph/gear.

Not sure if this is frowned upon or not but it flat scoots! The boys down here with manuals always want to run from a roll.

He clearly doesnt know the mods to his own truck. Like stated above ford injectors are rated in cc's the nozzles are % over stock. Like my old 7.3 had 250/100's. 250cc's more than stock and 100% larger than stock nozzles. And a 38r is t an 88mm!!! My truck also had a 38r... Its a 66mm inducer. The exducer of the comp wheel is 88mm

Not to mention over sized intake valves.
