Need to replace/modify my spring hitch/bumper to finish the tail pipe and it will split the frame and leaf springs and dumped right under the rear quarter

Hmmm should I start a thread for my gasser projects mainly the Malibu wagon, 75 square body and my 97 C3500HD with 454/NV4500??

Anyways
Picked up new floor pan for my wagon today. Still got a lot of brackets left to get but this is the biggest piece
Need to get some spot weld cutters/drill bits, probably the ones made out of tungsten or tool steel which are $$$.
To know my "mid size car" is as big or bigger than today's "full size car"..

All I have left is the house, but.... Tired of tinkering on stuff already.
That's awesome, I rent off my uncle, looking at buying land in SEOH or WV and base everything inside a 40*60 barnominum type setup

I wouldn't say I'm "tinkering." some things got put on hold for years the square body didn't have an engine for almost a decade ?

About 3-4hrs of work, got exhaust off, almost all accessories off, down to pulling the driveshaft, transmission drain coolant disconnect PS pump.
Can't find my intake lifting plate, darn thing grew legs and hid from me??‍♂️?
Got a FBMP score to pickup tomorrow morning, then swing by get another lift plate for whopping 13.00
get some measurements for the shifter hole., the pull the rest of the drivetrain. Then strip the interior
Probably pull inner fenders as well.

What ever happened to the Hamilton cam? I saw you got the actual specs from it. Is someone duplicating it?
Still got it. Currently Sitting in oil bath.
Most likely use comp's custom cam for additional builds. As everyone wants to regrind the stock cam. Or 2500 to copy it with a billet black

It was a rush/big deal, because I thought there where still some on the shelves. And I beat myself up for not buying the cams last year ('24)... Because "I wasn't ready" yet

Love to put a dmax in my square body and my C3500HD.. and possibly my wagon but that's WAY down the roads. For any of those steps.

For '26
Right now stacking parts, for everything ??‍♂️, get my pickup and wagon decent drivers, pay off the last couple grand of debt.
Then get a built transmission in the LMM

Also I'm not pull the LMM apart for anything serious unless a have a reliable 2nd vehicle which I don't really have currently. As the 4 other registered vehicle are either not running, of not in solid enough condition to A-B for a short time.

And I don't have enough to build a LMM engine then swap it in over say a long weekend which is currently pointless with a stock transmission and not a work vehicle unlike what I did with my LMM dually

As for the Cam and the prices, I find that to be absurd. I am going to find out if a blank can be obtained. I saw something about callies not wanting to do the Duramax cams but I couldnt find any sales on them.

Yeah IDK who's making billet blanks... Callie's won't do anything unless your spending 5 figures.. Wagler didn't give forth coming vibes.

Drove up to friends place in upstate NY. Some 350 miles of snow/blizzard.
Truck randomly went limp mode and through a P0101 MAF code. Swung in to a rest area and found this... Air filter all wet and plugged
No clue what could cause the issue ??‍♂️?
