Good thing she has you then, the VA is huge letdown. My good friend just gave up on it and pays for his healthcare now. Sad when the gov gives thousands away a week to those who just want more than they are willing to work for and let the vets suffer.

I'm blessed private medical is "cheap' roughly and it's just me
I think Doug Collins is doing an awesome job on one hand. On the other VA is it's own self feeding swamp with way to many chiefs and not enough Indians

That Power Service DPF flush seems to be the ticket. I’m on the second tank of it and I have driven thru a tank and a half and it is still at 83% soot load. I can see it passive regens much more effectively with the treatment. Shits not cheap though, recommendation is every 4th tank or something but I have run 2 consecutive tanks to get it cleaned out throughly. If this continues to keep the emissions system happy I’ll be stoked. I’ll keep updating on this as I’m sure I’m not the only person who wants their NEW truck to be reliable and not have to hack it up while still under warranty.

Mom wanted to hit local farmers market up Friday, grabbed local livestock meat pack 2-10oz sirloin 1# of beef stew cubes and 2# of ground lean beef,
Fried up the sirloin, with potatoes, mac n cheese (church members gave) and bacon
Been 10 years since done any thing this involved. Mom said I nailed it so?
Cooked bacon first then added butter and olive oil for the steaks.

Browning the stew steak tomorrow before church for beef stew crockpot meal

Little rusty on the crockpot.. beef stew with a side of beef??‍♂️?
Should have reduced the carrots, potatoes, onions, celery probably by 1/3-1/2 the amount, smells good, probably take some home with me ?

Don't forget a spoon full of better then bouillon beef base and some worcestershire sauce. I always put a can or two of cut green beans in mine also. Your vegetable quantity looks fine, I think you just didn't put enough beef in it?

I also cook the meat for a few hours first before adding then veggies and potatoes so they don't turn to mush when it's done. If it has too much water like soup, leave the lid partially off for it to vent. Be careful of too much salt as it will concentrate as the water evaporates. Potatoes and cabbage can help absorb some of that if it's a problem

Well the side of beef is only had 1-1/4lb of beef vs 2lb is one problem

I just browned the meat.
Generally I'm gone from the house too long when I'm home.

my kiddo is sick, so I whipped up a batch of Italian Penicillin; pastina soup :) I love the cooler weather, but the leaves right now are falling HARD around here. It's like a war-zone in my neighborhood, lol.

Boy and i went out to florence friday night to do some 4 wheelin with the suzuki guys. Wanted the whole fam to come but there was some 4H party Erin wanted to attend, as did Brooklyn. Sadly that was a let down and they regretted not going

We had a blast. Good weather, good friends, and got to play in some new areas. Going to go back out for TG.
