Someone who can at least out a medium truck on is the ticket imo. So yeah. A heavy truck shop is the best place to go to.I take mine to a heavy truck shop, they can align anything, I don’t mess with the car alignment shops anymore.
The Problem was he had to figure out what to damage and exactly how he was going to do it. That's why it took so long...Probably should have stepped back yesterday, the pulling is most likely due to the shit tires I have on it right now.
Still doesn't excuse the 30 minute job taking 2 hours and then damaging parts
Wow, 6 Hrs... I don't have the patience to wait that long. I am fortunate the guys I use are fairly good. But they also know I can turn wrench's too.I did the same for my LMM unfortunately I will no longer take my truck there, after them trying to do the alignment for 6 hours and then telling me they couldn’t align it because of my tie rod sleeves. I forced my way to the back and grabbed the tools and did it myself ?
Check out post 36..The Problem was he had to figure out what to damage and exactly how he was going to do it. That's why it took so long...
Sure any one could show up and do the job they are supposed to do, But what's the fun in that? It's more fun to be creative and figure out alternative ways one can achieve similar results that are close enough, but not exactly right...
Sorry, my sarcasm is acting up again...
Oh Jezz, it was Midas... They are so bad even there commercials suck...Check out post 36..
Swung by Midas this afternoon, assistant manager was there and his story is only store manager has the authority to do refunds.
He gave me the "certified mechanic" line.. snapped back, give me a ASE topic and I can be a "Master tech" in under a week or 2.. certs use to mean something 20-30 years ago. A legitimate mechanic doesn't do this type of work quality. He wasn't there yesterday so I didn't jump his case personally.. did mentioned the store manager doesn't seem to have legitimate credentials to being a store manager. And seams like a corporate type that no functional knowledge on how a shop works..
Says he works Tuesday through Saturday. They close at 6.. I get off work soon enough..
Should be able to do a charge back through the bank.. probably cost me 30-40.00...on a ~100 bill
2 guys for 2hrs on a 30 minute job they lost money on the get go
I'll never forget where I was when my science teacher told us what had happened... The look on his face was that of pure horror.![]()
Please, never forget what happened 24 years ago this morning. I know I never will.
Roni's starting to put together displays for my retirement party. UPS gave that 727 model to my Dad after he brought their air business to our airport. Sat on a shelf in his office, and now I have it.
