Fakebook memories...

Everyone can probably feel the Seismic effect of me rolling my eyes every time my wife mentions her 'fakebook memories ' lol. Fakebook (and really all of 'meta') needs to be deleted.
As with anything it's a "tool"
For me FB/IG allows me to stay in touch with friends, literally around the world for 1
2, the amount I've been able learned that should have been taught in Junior highschool or earlier is HUGE especially when it comes to basic government function. That I don't need government class on the 5/6pm news cycle.

Add various hobbies I like, and assorted various skill sets I'm working on improving.

I'll one up you on the same principle, delete all of the Internet.....and bring back land lines with corded phones??‍♂️?

I had the flu or something a couple of weeks ago (flu and covid tests both came back negative, but it had all the symptoms of flu); it kicked my ass. I ended up in the ER getting an IV for fluids because I passed out in urgent care. I won't go into details, but you get dehydrated when your body doesn't absorb liquids.

It seems to be that way with any flu bug coming around now. No more 24hr bug. It's all a week or two.

It is, and to think people live here and look at it every day. There were views just going down the road that I would blurt out, "would you look at that?!", but Roni wouldn't snap a picture.
Ya know, now that I've driven this xc40 400ish miles, it's a dang nice little suv.

To expand on the Sedona drive from Flagstaff, we were at the top of the mountains coming in, and the road took us into the valley, so it was miles of switchbacks and hairpins down to the bottom.
So when we got into it, it was all at 25-30mph thru cut stone, rock outcrppings and such. It was awesome if you like tight controlled driving.
Roni had tried to make a video, complete with all my funny comments ( we were behind four cars and a plumbing van -- not all there for the fun of it), but somehow she didn't hit "record". Man, that was disappointing.
Then the drive along the stream that made the canyon was still tight, with tight turns and guardrails up close, all through forest. Just great. I made the comment that it could be a really cool race track.
