I did the same thing, but I also added a zip tie through the metal top plate to ensure it can't ever make contact. In case anyone uses zip ties in the engine compartment, make sure they're nylon.

I use Thomas and betts Ty raps, they sure are expensive but hands down the best ties around.

Yes, swap to 01-05 filler or cut and weld 06-10
