The thing is I might have been so pissed if I was the recipient of the first drag around the parking lot victim in the first video I might have rammed that dodge like that! That would have been a fitting end!

1500HD? maybe?

Sure looks like a 2500 Gas truck to me though.

1500hd. Look how long the badge is. Frame doesnt stick below the cab much at all so that rules out 2500hd and you cant get a crew cab short bed in a 2500.

yes you can, they made them in 2004 and 2005 I believe. Ive seen one in person, it was a white 2500 CCSB. (not 2500HD) It had the 03-04 style hood/grille.

I REALLY wanted to take a picture of it because ive argued with people who said it didnt exist (the 1500HD/2500 debate seems to flood every forum out there, and 99% of the talk about them is misinformation), but the driver was standing right next to the truck and I thought it would be weird if I pulled out my phone and took a picture haha.

GM alternated back and forth between calling them 1500HD and 2500 (no HD), depending on model year....thus the endless confusion about them.

I dont know why...

As best I can tell, the "inbetween 1500-2500HD" trucks were called 1500HD from 2001-2003, then in 2004-2005, they called them 2500's (non-HD), then in 2006-2007 the 1500HD name returned.

Then in 2007.5 when the -900's came out, they got rid of the whole "heavy half ton" truck altogether.

As of 2007.5, the only "heavy half ton" vehicles that GM made/makes are the 2500 Suburban, and the Hummer H2 (which stopped production in 09 I think)

GM no longer makes an "inbetween 1500 and 2500HD" pickup truck.
