full day of driving, NY to MI at 60-65mph
I towed a 38 foot "park model" trailer out to Buffalo NY. Looked like this:

Dropped the trailer in Buffalo area this morning, but I had a couple more deliveries to do,
In addition to the trailer going to Buffalo, I was delivering a set of 20 inch wheels with 35s tires for a member on the Duramax Forum going to PA. AND, a last minute email of someone on the tdi forum in Ohio wanting the Jetta wheels and tires. Back of the truck looked something like this:
The route for the mpg test was this. Topped off the tank just south of Buffalo, dropped straight south to Dubois, PA. Got rid of the big tires there. I 80 to I77 to Indepedance OH to deliver the Jetta tires, then home to Albion, MI
Left the start point at 10:07 AM @ 340,400 on the odometer and a full factory fuel tank.
Arrived at Dubois, PA Pilot truck stop at 12:19, 340,516.
Left Dubois at 2:20, Quick stop in Hubbard, OH at the Allison dealer to buy trans fluid and filter for my next trans fluid change. Was there from 4:04 to 4:13, 340,618
Independance Ohio arrival time of 5:30 on the dot. Tossed off the Jetta wheels & tires, grabbed a coffee, and pulled out at 5:55, 340,691
Albion, MI at 9:30, 340,914.
