I cant trust anyone with anything any more. I can screw it up all by myself and it cost less =) I was really hoping to have it rolling with some primer in places by the 28th. Ill be another year old. Was a VERY slow 2 months here so I had to cut out all spending. My Ls is bagged up and waiting to pickup so I can send it off for machine work.

It was nice to meet you and I hope I can drive this pig by your place on a road trip soon. It was a real moral boost to get the car and drive it around a bit before winter tear down. I need manifolds and up pipes for my twin LBZ/LMM suburban. If you feel like it I can use a nice deal when It picks up round here. Almost ready to set the monster Dmax in Black Betty (suburban) I need to get this engine in for this summer. I have a 34' bumper pull.
The 666 project
One step fwd 2 steps back =) Am I doin the hokey pokey I bought 2 new AMD Qtrs, Deck filler, Tail light panel inner and outer. WTF 162.00 for 1 quart of epoxy primer. Im on Team Camaro looking at some of these guys build cars in their garage. They are diong almost a complete car minus a few pieces. One guy took 2 years to properly fit one qtr :barf: Im scared to weld mine on this weekend or next. I think? Mine looks right. Then off to the other side. Next after that is the tail light panel. I dont think this will be back out on the road this summer. But im gonna give it hell. New project name is the 666 project. I think I will wave my middle finger at the better than I LDS here and paint it Black with a deep red pearl ghost stripes some Satan heads, pitchforks and demonic theme. :thumb::villagers:

Dont think youve seen the suspension wheel combo before it went under the knife.
I had to buy different sheet metal. This round was about 1500. in AMD metal. These qtrs are 29 lbs vs every other brand at 18 lbs. I have the entire left side to do too. And also found inner/outer cowes both sides, lower a pillars both sides rotted through. Im out of money atm. Gofundme? lol heh I just need to get more work in the shop. This year has been awfully slow for auto repair and service. WTF is going on? What is going on out there folks? Guy I used to work for in 09 is adv 19.95 oil changes. I dont want those cheapos do I ?

Yea I found more cancer when I was replacing the left inner rocker. I have another 100.00 in pieces coming. This was a really bad buy on my part. 25k I could have put into my other Camaro that has a LOT less needed work. Live and learn I guess.
Josh I have media blasted it myself. I bought the pressure pot and media. I have been cutting grinding blasting and epoxy sealing. It could really use new frame rails an entire floor including the trunk. So basically it needs the entire car.
Dozer. Yep good news is it should last. Bad news is this sucked up all my funding for my suburban motor build. Its almost done too. I need the heads rebuilt push rods and a few other little trinkets for the twins some exhaust trans parts and billet converter.

I thought you might get a giggle out of what I was trying to avoid by buying a different car. Here is the original Camaro I was going to send off to AMD for sheet metal replacement at 13k plus the ride. :roflmao:

Here we are day I dont ****ing know any more Got the left inner and outter rocker done after a day fixing an inner supourt and finishing up my dbbl wide sand blast cabnet ( 2 Harbor frieght units) on memorial weekend.
Right side I did over the weekends prior. Today I bonded and started welding the L Qtr L outer wheel house and roof skin back on. **** me its a lot of work. Anyone wanna buy a camaro?

Painfull OMG yes im so fng sore from working every week then weekend 10 to 18 hour days since January on this pile of rubble.
I suggest you get reading up on Team Camaro forum. and build a body cart/jig like I did.
Sorry for the continued struggle on the underlying condition. It's just going to be that much more special when you're done. :thumb:
