Looks awesome.. what's your plans for a power plant??
For now its the 6.0 out of my 07 suburban w 11:1 rowdy cam and a viper T56. Should make 550 for now. later I want a 427 twin turbo LSX
I think Ill paint it 1970 lime green ( or some thing like it) with silver grand sport corvette fender stripes

Thanks. Its been a very long road. In 03 I was terminated from Pac bell at 4 years 9 months into service before I could be vested and owed a pension with a 1 month old baby and a new truck payment :thumb: I was building a 69 Camaro with all of these parts. and had to side line it. Through that and BR in 10 I am doing better and bought this car from Rick so I could spin it around a bit and work on it. I decided to pull out all the parts I had for the other Camaro that needed 12k in body repairs plus paintwork and interior. I figured this was a better option. This one needs some rust repair that was unforeseen but Im still happy with it. I must confess. Its hard to sleep at night cause I want to work on it 24-7 :woott:

Still my favorite looking car on the road! They're just timelessly perfect. With the modern touches you're giving it, this will be one to behold! Congrats on rebounding and getting your dream car part together. Glad its working out for you. :thumb:

Very nice. That front suspension running c5 a-arms or?
When I first got into the street fighter scene the C4 was the cats ass then 9 months later he did C5 and now its gone even farther. The differences in them would only be told by a professional driver and then it would be marginal at best.
Truth be told I will swap it out with Lateral Dynamics front clip if and when they rebound from the crapper of 08 as well. In contact with the owner of Ld he said they are reopening the doors soon. They build the BEST stuff money can buy period. All the other kits out there can hold a candle to what the LD 3 Link can do it can road race and drag race.

Thanks, I shed a tear when we drove out of Kansas with it. we left sat morning and made it home that night. I rolled it off the trailer and we drove it to dinner =) My wife shed a tear when she walked in the shop and saw it as a shell  Umm yea it is the best car ever made IMHO # 2 55 chevy #3 66 chevelle . Of which I had all 3 and had to sell them =)

=( Life is like a box of chocolates

Well I got this lil guy thinking I could save my self from rebuilding the body of my other Camaro. Not so much. I knew the rockers needed to be replaced and the passenger door jamb didnt line up well. So I went a cuttin and this is what I found it needed. 2 new outer rockers, both qtrs are full of rust and were put on like crap by whomever thinks they were a resto pro (NOT). Outer bumper braces in trunk not even welded to pan, Tail pan rotted out, Tank supports covered up the rot with seam sealer. Trunk gutters not welded in properly nor seam sealed causing said qtr panel rot =( Rust coming through roof at drip rails, outer cowls rotting out and A pillars as well. all in all over 15k in shet metal work plus Paint work. RICK HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the resto He got the car same as me. WHATEVER Im moving forwards and here is the progress. At least its no longer a slushbox. out with the slip and go and in with the Viper 6 speed w dual disk 33 lbs clutch

That's a sweet project. 69's are the best! Those suspension changes are top shelf. I have a big block, four speed Indy Pace Car I've had since 1990. I restored it, but a sweet handling 69 like yours would be even more fun to drive. Keep at it, it looks great.

Are you doing the body work or was that sourced out? Looks like someone is doing a great job on the re-do. Sorry there was so much to re-do but glad you had the means to do it right! It's going to be a special car when you're done!
