Refresh of my LMM.

Its like the never ending list as of late. Starter went in and all was good. I try to inspect things any chance i get under it. Found the trans cooler lines "finally" starting to get a little damp around one of the crimps - not bad in reality for an 18 year old truck. Lower rad hose was also wet - so there's that.

I guess I'll be ordering the PPE silicone hose kit along with heater core lines and fittings as an OEM lower is $400 CDN and the PPE kit is $385.

Edit: at this point, I should maybe ask to have the thread moved to Garage builds...

Upgraded from my floppy morimoto’s to these new Diode dynamics SS3’s and these are stupid bright. Almost like having a second set of low beams.



I would recommend these to anyone looking for an upgrade while looking to keep a filler panel, so it doesn’t look too much like a square peg in a round hole.

Hi guys.

Not a whole lot to report as of late. Better three quarters and I finally bought a place outside of town. So these past 6 months have been busy and filled with home related shit and getting the new garage set up.



Truck did roll over 400,000 kilometers. Celebrated with an oil change.


Needed a new set of batteries a week ago which hurt. And then two days later the blower motor went.

Decided to pull the banks intake off and put the stock one back on because I just feel it’s a better filter and I’m not making enough power for the justification… maybe down the road when I do some more power related things I’ll put it back on.

I think I’m going to finally buy a lift pump for this thing. Between FASS and Airdog, any recommendations?

But all in all, status quo.

the garage was bare studs to current in about 6 weeks of weekends. 24x24 9ft walls on a 6" curb. nothing crazy.. single bay IMO. Added two 20amp circuits and will be adding a 30 and a 50 amp as well. Added 3 outlets to the ceiling for 50ft chord reels, and moved the one for the opener.

Here's some pics! I still need to finish up the baseboard, window and door trim and paint the garage door.

Built two walls out to 2x6 to match the party wall and front wall. Oddly enough.. 2x6 window frame and door frame... idiot's

R22 Rockwool in the walls

Started the drywall.

Installed one of these direct drive openers

And had a ladder fail on me in the process.. supposedly fractured my wrist in 3 places.

Added 6 4x2 80w LED panels (currently set to 50w)

Put R60 worth of atticat in the ceiling

Paint!

And that rounds up the garage mayhem.
