Heres some pictures of the nova I just got. I put the wheels and tires and it needs finished but has all new gm brackets stainless lines disc brakes inner fenders everything in boxes just need some time to complete. I need to remove the front frame and paint it then I will start bolting the new stuff on it. I thought about putting my built motor in it and a stock motor back in the truck.

Bad ass !! Love the color!

We have a 69 nova drag car/406ci.

The Dmax would be awesome in that car!!!

What rear end is in it?

I wonder what kind of frame setup was under that 70's chevelle that you see everywhere with the dmax in it....

Chevelles, Malibus, and Montes have full frames; Novas and Camaros are unibody/subframe cars.

Nova

Thanks everyone. I have a special place for nova's being that was my first hot rod. It would look good with a Dirty in it for sure. Jeff

oh for the love of all things diesel I hope with everything in me that you put the dmax in that car and line up with Moody!!

Oh wait, yours will probably be done first (even though you've not even started) so he'd have to bring whatever it is he daily drives and that won't be much fun to beat. :joker:

Seriously though, I really hope a built dmax finds its way between the frame rails of that car!! What would it weigh, 3000 # with driver?

X-whatever number on the D-max. My buddy has a --> bone stock LB7<-- in his Chevelle. With an EFI tune and slicks, it has gone a best of 11.62 @ 12x.xx spinning one tire a good 150'. I try to talk him into some suspension work, but he wont do it!
