New Colorado Diesel.

Are any of you guys thinking of buying the new diesel when it comes out this summer? I will be buying one as soon as I can find one. I will be selling my LML as I am done with it.
I bet it won't take much to put it in the 12's. The trans will not hold it at that level.

What trans is in the Colorado, anyway?

6L50 which is a smaller version of the 6L80. I don't have all the info yet but I think I can stick some 6L80 parts in it to beef it up.
Mileage will be around 25mpg or so. I expect better with EFI tuning.
I would not be surprised to see a 10 second truck with some turbo work and tuning. My Cobra may have a hard time keeping up with this puppy.

We had chevy luvs and isuzu duramax (thats the trucks name) trucks in iraq they were sweet. But nearly full sized for sure, even the diesel rangers we had we nice.

Even fit and finish in those trucks were nice for being stripper trucks. But i dont know how closely related they are

They improved the block and the heads for the US.
