I'm having a hard time imagining Pat on that bike. Pics please. :D

I'd love a sport bike - my heart yearns for a hayabusa. :hail:

You mean a Hayabusa like this? Anyway congrats on the new TOY Pat. Kat make sure he wears his gear.

Cool!

Man I didn't know you were a 2 stroke guy! I love them! I have had all the Kaw 2 stokes. Many RD 350/400's,R5's. The last RD400 had NOS,wheelie bars, spec 2 pipes. It was a blast. Two stroke power band with NITROUS what a rush. My last 2 stroke was a Johnson outboard boat motor on a 22' Velocity boat. A V-8 2 stoke with with mods and Nitrous with alky. It had a seperate fuel tank for alky to inject when the nos was on to keep it cool. It would drop the pyro 200 soild when everything was flowing. What a ride. Go to a web site MTBoats.com and look in friends rides. The called it the BIG JOHNSON!

Pat, that's an awesome bike! BUT, you guys are nuts! I have a 04 honda 250 that was all modded up when I bought it. The thing scares the hell out of me and I only ride it a couple times a month just to get that extreme acceleration rush and then I park it again b/c I know the thing will kill me! I dont dare try jumping much-- Ride some wheelies and thats about it. I like 4 wheels better also :D

I had a 2001 TL1000R, full M4 carbon fiber exhaust. That bike was awsome. The low end torque of a twin is nice. Sold it since I found myself riding a little to fast for the law :D

Wish they still made them. 2 years ago ended up buying a 2006 R1. Bike is insane, fortunatly, I found a little self control over the years

Trivia -

The KTM 300 is the largest two-stroke still available.
It is known as the "3-stroke" for it's wide powerband and huge top end power.
It has a full-sized lighting coil, and the 2008 even has electric start.
It will out run most 4-stroke 450's in production, yet has better low-speed manners.

Congrats on the new bike..... You can still get an 07 cr500af from service honda. It not straight from the manf. But still a new bike.

KTM's are great bikes, I always wanted one.

You got to love the 2 strokes, the throttle response & brutal powerband always made them so much fun to ride. I cannot believe they will soon be a thing of the past. Damn tree huggers.....

I still have my 250R Suzuki quad & will probably never sell it. It still walks all over the new 400 & 450 quads out there.

I gave up on my dirt bikes for the street. Now I have a Yamaha R1 with a little 50 shot of nitrous for good measure. 200hp & 380lb is a good combination.

Good luck with the new toy....

Anyone else remember how bad the first KTMs where? Pink with leaky forks and not much motor. The company has come a long way, very impressive bikes now.

Crap. The VIN on the pink slip is off two digits from the frame. Need to figure out what is up.

The previous owner put the off-road sticker on top of it, so I did not check it until I got home.
