Someone is installing aluminum rods and higher or lower compression pistons am i right? oh and he is probably o-ringing the block and heads for the hg issue

Looks like you had some piston to valve happiness. That glossy black goe on your piston looks all to firmilar. Did you check your exhuast valves and see if they are coated with the same stuff and sticking? If they are, pull your springs and throw the valve seals in the trash!

I was just messing with everyone a little bit! I do have the motor apart to fix the head gaskets. I wanted to look at the rings and bearings and make sure its ready to go. I really like the pin oiler in the Howard's rods as the wrist pins and bushings look like they have never been run. I was hoping to get a rise out of everyone about nitrous. Piston tops look good no burning or erosion. I'm no diesel guy but it looks to me that the burn is in the bowl pretty good. I do need to add a little clearance to the pistons and the PV as they are very close! No carbon close. Sorry just trying to stir a little bs. Im going nuts thinking about pulling it apart before a big race. Jeff

Anything that will make more power is good with me! I'm getting to old for this sh$$! These last minute late night stuff is killing me. I thought I gave that part of racing up 10 years ago. I want that record in S/S and I will turn it up or tear it up to get it. I had 3 double cheese burgers :angel:and 4 pepsi's so I think I have that 10 lbs. covered. Jeff
