I figured that thick a piece of steel would be alright without bracing the full top length of the crossmember like the DJM and just cut and weld the OE trans mount on top

Probably should of went 20x10, I needed the turning radius that the 20x9 offered
May keep these and go 20x10 for a street track set up, then it's not such a big deal for me.

Put the stock keys back in and lowered it til my tie rods were flat, can't decide if I should go with a 2" shackle or a 3"

My 20x10s turned fine now 20x12s not so much

If you go with a 3" you can still put it in the 2" hole... There are different holes on the shackes.

That's good to know! Where is the best place to get them? Someone said that autozone had them so I checked the local store with no luck

Autozone carries the 2". For 3" you need another manufacturer like djm or belltech

Is there something specific to ask for? I asked for a 2" drop shackle and the guy said that they weren't showing up on the computer.

Well I didn't think about taking pics..

I started by removing the hitch and loosened all the nuts on the shackles

I couldn't get the bolts out by jacking up the rear so I ended up putting a high lift jack under the bumper and it worked perfect!

Popped the bottom bolts out and jacked up the rear til the leaf hit the bed and used a punch for the top bolts

Also if you use the high lift like I did make sure you have the e brake on and chock the wheels... I have a nice dent in my tailgate from not thinking about it
