I don't think so. The reason for pulling fuses on the older trucks is everything was on the class 2 bus, and sometimes modules don't listen to the 'shut up' command and keep chattering, which is what causes read and write issues. On the LBZ, the only things on the high speed GMLAN bus are the ECM, TCM, and GPCM. Everything else is on the class 2 bus, so if something is chattering on the class 2 bus, it won't affect the GMLAN bus.
