Okay... So, I own a I a diesel performance shop in NJ and we mainly specialize on Powerstrokes. Recently I got this bug that I wanted to add an LBZ to my personal collection along side my 8 Powerstrokes.. in doing so of course I decided hey why not grab myself a V2 while I'm at XDP picking up a parts order for a customers build. With that said, I HAVE NEVER wrote tuning, its always been outsourced to Vivian at Quicktricks for the Powerstrokes. With this said I decided I'd go for gold with the Duramax and try figuring it out.
Could a skilled/seasoned tuner take a look at my DSP5 tune? its currently on my truck, feels really good for the most part. I know the trans needs some tuning to match but just wanted to see if there is anything I should fix right away on the engine side.. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
****to anyone without common sense, I HIGHLY suggest DO NOT LOAD OR COPY this tune straight into your truck. This is the FIRST tune I have ever wrote for a Duramax/EFI. I know I said I loaded it to see where I stood but it was just that, to see what I had and it felt okay but will most likely melt your shit down faster than you’ll catch an STD from a $2 Hooker in Mexico.
