Well, just about reached the end of the internet. Got to thinking...
If I went with an aftermarket "looking" turbo, what kind of boost does a stock LBZ take? If I run 40 lbs boost, will it need studs?
And, on that note, how involved is it to replace studs?
Will studs do the trick to hold more PSI, or is there more to it than that? I.e. will the compression be too high and start taking out rods?
I like the HP I make, could use a tad more, but doing it with less smoke/more psi would be nice.
Anyway, don't spend much time answering as I'm just wondering. Nothing happening for another year or so. Got money tagged for a new Can Am Renegade quad 1st.

Rods hold 40 psi or is it tq/hp that bends them. I was thinking the compression with 40 psi would be hard on them.

I'm gonna knock on wood before my post..... ...... ...... ......

....I have been fine with over 30k miles with my A5k which hits 42lbs consistently. Mind you single LLY CP3, and ben's "conservative" timing.

are you serious ? thts to much for you IMO Can you even hold rail psi with out dual cp3s.

i hold 22,000 but it will drop to 20,500-21,000 sometimes now with the the race valve, ppe fitting, and fuel rail. it will spike to 25,000 i also have an LBZ regulator.
