Had the rock and roll cab truck come back in may. My guys got a locker each, i wanted a full upgrade and they had a hell of a promo rolling that brought pricing way down plus a good trade in on my two boxes. Interest free for a year too, ill take a little advantage of that and then pay it off before june next year
Yeah, I met one of those guys. Its nice to see all the options you can get. But they pushing the Epiq series and they dont offer what i want in that.

Told him I would pay full price and wait 6 months if I had too just to get the one I wanted in the color I want. They suggested I just buy a used one when 1 comes up... I said yeah, cause I always have 10k just laying around in cash and can just sell my old box when I finally get the one I want... I am not even that mad about the low trade in value, its more that they won't build what I want when its not much more difficult. They have the prints and used to build them, they just didnt build enough to keep a production line dedicated to to them. And they dont currently offer anything I like that would function they way I want it. I already have a side cabniet with full drawers and the mini locker. I need a 4 bay with the larger drawers and switch to a full size locker with the opening cabniet on top. I also want to switch from blue to black now

I mean… i get it… but from a mfg stand point, do you see how that would make no sense for them to build? You have a plant thats 8-12 weeks out on builds, had a box that hardly sold, retooled and moved away from an assembly line able to build that box along with material so the quick ability to even put it together should the parts be there is now gone and they most likely do not have proper pricing to even sell it because of the above. Just not beneficial to them

He actually never pushed us on epiq’s, i liked this guy lol.

Massive 4.1 earthquake just outside of Vegas a bit ago…
I was driving and didn’t get to enjoy it lol.
Been through many earthquakes in my years living in SoCal. Some much more powerful then a 4.1. Brick will probably vouch

A 4.1 is a little shaker. That lawn chair falling over is a good chuckle. Though a 4.1 might barely be able to pull it off

We’re ranked 3rd behind Alaska and California for seismic activity Mostly small ones though. When I’m stationary, I actually get a case of vertigo when we have them. When I was younger I had a water bed, and it’s weird when you get woken up because the bed won’t stop moving lol.

Yes, and No.... It's a double edged sword. It's like the 5 bay Mr.BIG box. That thing was massive. Yet they still continued to offer it. I only ever saw 1 in person and never even knew a dealer that sold one. The 4 Bay Is just 2 of the 2 bay units with 1 side flipped around. drawers and all the components are the same. Only the back and floor structure would be specific to that model. It's actually not that hard for them to construct. They just need to make 1 Face Backwards when they bend it up. All the other components are basically the same. The Press Brakes run on a CNC program so it's not like they don't have it or know how to bend it up. The Dies are the same. SO in theory it's definitely doable...

It is nice they didn't push you on that. I don't know what the deal is, but out here that was the push. They will sell you whatever you wanted but they were trying to steer towards the new latest and greatest. I get it. But I didn't see anything that worked for me in that line up.
my 1003 has been great, I just need some more long drawers.

Oh, If you didn't get a Cover, I highly suggest one!

My box is over 25 years old but it is still in nice shape. The cover is beat to hell but it keeps the uv rays from the sun and all the crap from the shop getting on it. I haven't waxed that poor thing in years.

I also have the Plastic guards over the drawer tops. They look like shit now, but the drawer handles have no scratches or wear on them and the trim is perfect underneath.

Oh yeah... IIRC it takes at least a 4.5 to start doing some damage to property and what not. To me, I find it funny when there something less happens and it knocks some of the smaller things over and people freak out.... They act like it's the first time they have ever been in an earthquake. They occur more often than most people realize, they just don't notice them. We had a couple good one's down here. One that took out sections of the freeway and had building collapse back in 1994 known as the Northridge earthquake. AT the time it seemed like the apocalypse was happening. That was a 6.7 but it was also a fault line they were unaware of at the time. and the damage and destruction went right through a city causing Billions in damage and several deaths.

If you notice on this list on wikipedia it has to be at least a 5.0 to be considered a Notable Earthquake. The lowest one being a 4.9 in the 1920's but building codes and standards have changed since that time.
