What James missed out on, fast car, racetrack or not...... :ROFLMAO:
🤣 oh buddy, there was plenty of those going on, just wasnt the waitresses. Holy shit do European women dress to impress and are well endowed. Talk about a lack of obesity over here
Im so jealous of James, we've been deciding where to go as far as an international vacation. I'd love to go to Germany but my wife definitely wants something tropical, or Italy.

Oh I’d do italy in a heartbeat. We realized quickly not to rush smaller towns. The ones we did that in, we were pissed we didnt plan to stay longer. Munich was the only one we could have stayed longer at and it was a big city. Stuttgart was meh. Coulda done more time in colonge so we could see dusseldorf and more in colonge.

Also, a/c sucks ass out here. Lucky to get ice in anything. Pay for water everywhere (no such thing as free even at restaurant's), preplan parking the day before if your driving anywhere, monday germans aint got shit open. Sunday, basically all normal german stuff is closed but touristy stuff is open. And list goes on.

But autobahn at 122mph in the rental van is fun as fuck. You get places quick when there isnt construction or traffic

Based on a few of the videos I've watched from all the people coming over for the world cup. They are all raving how good the food is over here, how much flavor ot has. And on top of that, the portion sizes are double what most European countries serve. Free refills, etc.

If they lived in the US for any length of time, they too would put on a few pounds. Over here you need self control and the will to eat healthy. Over there you are kinda forced into it

This should put a smile on any American's face. But a large part of the video was about how good the food is

Oh did I mention we have to rig our rig down, go help move and other rig, then come back and mobilize this one, largest natural gas producer in the country and we're running like a start up outfit LMAO
Sounds like regular operation to me. I’ll either be kickin back in the closed shop or headed to Midland.

I just like to sleep at 76-78* at night and low humidity . It was 85-90* most days and 40-60% humidity which aint bad with a light breeze and we cruised around no problem compared to everyone else who looked like they were on the verge of heat stroke. When you get in your hotel room and its the same temp as outside or hotter, i have an issue with that. Specially for what we were paying.

I wound up hot rodding one of the mini splits at one of our hotels to get the room down to a nice temp. Yanked the plugged up filters, undid the lights that stayed on permanently, and tricked the system to stay on “super cool” mode by jumping some wires on the thermostat.

Then our last hotel, it flat out didnt work. I tried to sleep through it the first night but it was way too hot. Even with windows open and door open to get air flow. Found it was in the roof above and they used cold water to make cold air (dont ask me how it worked but it did). I fucked with the tstat for 2 hours, no change. Pulled the roof tiles and found the filters fucking plugged again and the cold water valve not opening after some google foo. It had a 1/4 turn valve on the solenoid to open it, turned it and bam, ice cold coming out and high volume. Fuuuuuck yeah. Layed the filters off to the side up in the tiles and put it back together. Erin was mad and happy at the same time. Mad i was fucking with shit but happy we had a/c lol

I don't stay in hotels much as I work in them as my job. But I know all those tricks. I would absolutely do the same thing if I was in your position.

Fir that AC, there are two types I can think of based on your description. One uses water to cook the condenser. This will often times have an evaporative cooler on the roof or somewhere else that cools the water down. Less common is another refrigerant powered cooler (chiller plant) that cools the water. Then there is the style that actually uses the chiller plant cold water directly in the coils that the blower fan blows through to cook the room down with.

Might be a good day, first time I've walked outside this week and my glasses haven't fogged up.

Made sure to set a few bottle rockets off at midnight

As much as I hate the politics, the costs in this state of California, you can't be our weather. It is going to be 75-80 degrees today and about 40-50 humidity. Happy 4th of July everyone.

We've spent about $1200 total on fireworks between four of us. 48 shells, 10 boxes, two all-in-ones.

Weather is still hit-or-miss for this evening. We had an exceptionally string storm come thru yesterday about 7pm, lasted til 9. Didn't stop people from lighting fireworks off til midnight, though. New strong storm came thru about 230am this morning, too.
