Injector cupless lb7 heads!!

They are finally here! Lb7 heads that have no cups. That's right just clamp down the injectors and not have to worry about the cup's sealing or blowing later.

If you are building an Lb7 engine or plan on building one later give us a call.

Prices start at $1450 and can easily be upgraded with custom CNC porting, custom DTS springs or larger valves.

NEVER HAVE A BLOWN OR LEAKING INJECTOR CUP!

Looks good. Nicely done. Always wondered if someone would make aluminum inserts and do that.

Id like to know how much better the heat transfer is with the aluminum cups than the stainless OEMs. It has to be better. This is something that was discussed over at the DP in the Injector Failure Ideas thread, just nobody ever had the resources to explore it. Congrats!

Is this something where you'd sell the cups for customers to weld and dress out themselves or are you just going to sell as a complete head only?

I can... but they aren't really cups when I start more like slugs. I do all the really critical machining once they are pressed in. And I will tell you they don't just drop in its almost ridiculus the amount of work it takes just to get them in. They will probably work with out welding them but lets face it anyone that has had a injectorcup problem after a engine build knows the value of NEVER COMMING OUT injector cups.

Amen to that. Might not be for the person doing a stock injector change (cost is already insane for injectors), but for guys building race LB7s (Trent...hint hint), this would definitely be added to the list of things to do. Took a lot of gumption for you to do this. Nice work.

Looks great but I don't see the need for everyone to upgrade unless your going over 1000hp maybe just my opinion ??

And it's 1450.00 if the customer supplies heads?
