Yep, its all interchangeable. If you need the gas tank or rear cab crossmembers, look under half ton, too.
I live CA. But dry and no rust here.Sad but true. Keep two trucks around so one can sit, and the other get trashed by road salt.
6.0 yes, so I am assuming 4l80e. It's too old for GM to be very descriptive on the build sheet.View attachment 134485

You out in AZ like James?
It's at 51psi.Did you verify pressure? It could be rotted pump. I think it was 58 psi withen 2 up ir down
I think that's correct for an 02 with return style fuel system. IIRC i think they say 48-52.It's at 51psi.
Definitely the direction it's headed.Sadly, I think Brick may be right. If theres that much water and they ran it thru the engine, they couldve done a lot of damage. Hoping not.
I guess this thread could also be called, "I bought a snow plow setup, and got a truck with it for free".
Thanks, I'm going to order a cheap pump and fuel line kit, then get a better idea about the injectors. I do appreciate the offer. If it runs on ether. It may not be getting actual fuel through the injectors. I would pull the rail with the injectors and see if any of them have an actual pattern. I am guessing they are going to be full of debris on the intake side though.
I will have to look, I might have a set of injectors. I know I have a few stock manifolds laying around.
Same conversation I have with myself, multiple times a day.I'd pull the plow on it and build a fire, but the other side of me says get some rock auto injectors/rails and a fuel pump and let it eat.
Good point and will do.Even if you scrap the truck a running engine is worth more than non running. Same with the 4L80E.
If your replacing the pump, don't forget to get a retaining ring. I am sure that thing is crusty

Eh i wouldnt fret over the water it sprayed in there. Compression test would tell you for sure though.
Personally I’d get it running, run it hard and then check compression or dead holes.
As for AZ, im 2nd generation born/raised here. Great grand parents were on their way to cali from oklahoma (carter side) and stopped in Coolidge to make a few bucks before moving on. Calvin Coolidge (what the town was named after) had a bunch of federal grants going back then so they bought acerage and became cotton farms. Never left AZ lol.
Dont think ill ever leave. Has everything i want and the heat never bothered me. I live outside of phx so the 120* temps they post about isnt what i see at home. Usually 110*. But come sun down, it actually cools off. I can be 20+* cooler at my house than in phx just because of the heat bubble.
I mean… az is hot and terrible. Bad place to live![]()
We used to always go to the P4W ranch (Phoenix 4 wheelers) during spring break. They put on a good event.I do envy your trail system……
