Not for nothing but with a username like the one you have I would not expect anything different.
One thing I have learned over the years is there is at least three sides to every story. His side your side and some where in the middle. I'm not picking sides but there has to be something ,although probably minor, to his gripes about unsatisfactory product or services. I'm sure he's frustrated but it works both ways.
No one is your customer forever but there is something to be said about saying nothing. To constantly berate a past customer says a lot to future customs if they should have a problem and to speak up about it. Just my neutral observations.

I am going to ASSume this was directed at me.... As far I know Matt/MPLV has never purchased anything from PPE/Myself (not a customer). All of my comments/opinions I have made were based upon what I have read and the conversations I had with Matt.....:hello:
I agree respect has A LOT to do with the outcome, the opinions I have formed are based A LOT with our very first phone call when I offered my help...
I totally get where you are coming from yes my user name clearly stats who I would take sides to but the bottom line is the way he has come at people is jacked up He jumped down Cindy's and robs throats when all they have tried to do is help solve the proplem. I have a Lmm and I am intreasted so if I ever were to run into and of these proplems then I have something to go off of. If it seems like I am cheer leading for Ppe that's fine. But regardless the fact is that the guy is going about dealing with great companies and super nice people all wrong
We will be tuning a LMM we just built the motor in next week or the next... Charger of choice is the 4094VVT... I never had a issue tuning them before... Hopefully this issue will arise with ours and we will have something to work with. I throw an extra high five to the ATP crew for their time on putting a finger on the issue and we would like to follow suite as well. Hopefully something will be figured out quickly! Wish I had the issue in my possession so we could be hands on. For me, this is fun... It's like playing a video game and since the truck is not here I feel like I'm playing the demos online! Lol good luck fellas.
It sucks for the customers when things don't go right but for us its a hayday! Anything to get me away from making stock trans DSP5 LMM tunes.... :banghead:
We don't have any records for requests for support on the vehicles you claim. So either the issue isn't reported, it's just internet gossip "he said she said" type stuff, no issue exists, or those with issues are not using our software. If you are aware of the issue existing on a number of trucks, I highly suggest that you point them to this thread, and have them document their issues. At the end of the day you can't look into what you don't know about.
When your issue was first raised, we raised those issues with a number of tuners who indicated that they hadn't come across the issue. If you want to call that imaginary go right ahead. We don't write tunes, we don't have direct access to vehicles, we write software. How software is implemented by the tuner will vary the results greatly.
The way you treat people is far from ideal. We pride ourselves on having good relationships with our Tuners and Customers. Our developers will work closely with any customer that has this issue in a timely manner, however you and any tuner you work with will not be afforded that same priority based on your conduct towards others, particularly when you specifically mention Ross at EFILive as the problem. He didn't build your combination, he didn't design the ECM, he didn't write the program that runs the ECM, he doesn't work at GM.
mmmm...what can you say. As far as I'm aware he's not even our customer. He purchased the services of a truck builder who in turn purchased the service of a professional tuner who uses our software. Unhappy with the result, he then purchased the services of other professional tuners who also use our software.

Been running some balls out dsp5 tuning for 3 years now, still on stock trans, lots of low low 13 second slips with 105+mph and way too many freeway limps.... that little 5 spd is still ticking
Told mike to make the big tune as hot as you can.... been that way since... my headgaskets will vouch for that:rofl:It goes stock, tow, something, something else, and kill. Those are the only three that get used. Smog, daily drive, whip the shit out of whatevers next to me.
Some people are too damn picky with their tunes though, I do get that. A "trans safe race tune"????...... :rofl:

Ive had some of the craziest requests...lol like the stock trans sand drag tune?? rocky point mexico i guess, must just be that i live in the southwest...the heat gets to people haha.

eh tuning in person is different and way more fun since its hands on. sitting in front of the computer looking at logs sucks way more than rosting tires logging in-cab
