I want the original one. I spent a lot of time working on my friends truck years ago. Might be a good auto crosser. The Hellcat makes a lousy crosser.
I almost got one back in 91! That would have been my first car so my dad decided on a k5 blazer instead lol. The cyclone is the muse for my regular cab Denali build, I wanted the ability to pull boats with it and haul weight in the bed so I needed a 1500 platform. I've looked into the SVE vehicles and became friends with Charlie Rayborne the product manager, they build some nice trucks. Good luck on your search! They are tough to find OEM and people are super proud of them even in shitty undrivable condition. I was blown away at what people pay for them, maybe it's changed since I was looking 4 years ago though.

There's one for sale near me, but he wants $29.5k for it. It's been for sale for 2 years, so I don't think he's very motivated.

My buddy was just showing me pictures of a Cyclone "clone", had the new LS style 4.3L with boost
I would want to build my own clone, but damn as hard as it is to find a clean S10 to start with it might be easier to find a real one. Since they are special and probably taken better care of.
By today's standards they are SLOW. Lol. Most fast ones now sport an LS with a turbo.
I don't care. I already have something very fast.
