LLY: Free Rev Issue?????

In Park not touching any other pedals except the throttle my truck will only free rev to like 2200rpm..now if i hold my foot on the brake and it in park it will free rev to the tune set high rpm..WTF...never noticed this till a while back..It does it with all my tunes . Does anyone elses truck do this??

its because you have the PTO function turned on...

when the PTO/high idle is enabled, the rev limit is 2200rpm

Ahhhhhh..ok ..Thanks Ben, come to think of it that shortly after I installed that is when I noticed the issue.

IIRC you can also adjust that RPM with EFI cant you?

You sure can, Simon. I just looked, and it's table B1901 that changes the PTO rev limiter.
