Loosen the radiator cap. The hose should come back to original shape. You can either wash the radiator cap or buy a new one. Ive heard they are around 7 bucks.

Learn how to loosen a pressure cap?

When you shut off a car or truck that has been up to full temp, the water has expanded into the tank. So it cools, and creates a mild vacuum in the hose.

This has been going on since 1971. Blue has had the Limp Hose since it was new 5 years ago with no problems. Even our Vette does the same thing. Only when the engine doesn't get up to full temp is it not flacid.

This will trap gas in the system. The cap has the role of suction relief, but the stock caps don't work very well, they get stuck.

It's not so important what happens when it gets hot, but what doesn't bappen when it cools off.
