What I did rich was build a 3" pedestal spacer that is at a 45° forward so it lifts the turbo up and forward so you clear the sensor and it gets you away from the firewall. I just had to notch my cowl a little to fit. Just an idea and you can make it out of steel laying around.

Just re read this....take those lines out and run the ficm dry, that should free up some space and that spot would be open. I don't think you will have a problem being its a puller only, mines been dry with no problems. I think I have a plug to plug the distribution block if you need one.

I just took that stuff off but the fuel pressure sensor is way smaller am I over looking something?

I don't need to run fuel through the ficm?

I'm not and have no issues, Ed wasn't either when he had it. Makes it a lot easier to work on too.

I'll be home in about an hour and look and and measure mine, I had it all apart before when I wanted to run an a2w intake, just got to see it to remember how.

I got the pedestal from him and he removed the fuel temp sensor probably didn't realize what I'd said at first

So much for bolt-on ready Rich. :(

Yea, on an LLY all you have to do is either move or remove the fuel temp sensor. I had no experience on a LB7 so i was unaware of that clearance issue.

A remote mount is probably your best option. I know when I tried fitting a HX60 and my Precsion in the valley I would have had to cut up the fire wall or put in a body lift to make it fit. You would probably need custom high pressure line's made to move the junction block the sensor plugs into.

If you look at all the valley mount 2.6 trucks, they all have big body lifts to help clear. Bout every truck out of Danville's shop, kyle ehrich, matt sparkman(hx60), even Armstrong's 3.0 has an obvious body lift

I have no problem doing one its just How my offseason has gone I know I'd get to the last body mount and itd be stripped or bolt wil break off lol

How did you do that Curtis? Did you put that whole block back there?

Sorry I should have clarified. My fprv was in the back of the rail. The distribution block and rail pressure sensor were in the stock location. Ficm was also run dry. I am sure you could lput the whole block on the back of the rail with some sore of a union fitting.

Why not just delete the FPRV and put the sensor in the back of the passenger rail?

That's what I would do. I haven't ran a relief in 3 years. Only blown 1 check ball. If you do that run seperate returns from the injectors and pumps all the way to the tank. That will help

The threads are different between the 2, the sensor is smaller than the rail. I'm sure an adaptor could be had though. Rich can confirm but I think he was able to get it to work with out doing that.
