When I retire, I'll have been on the job 40 years. The other day I realized thats the same amount of time as between the end of WW2 (1945) and the year I was hired (1985).

FB memories showed this.. drive backed up my ~1/2 mile driveway, didn't bother checking Google maps if there was room to turn around. FWIW fed truck comes 1-2x a week plus livestock trucks every ~5 weeks

He back up a 1/2 mile driveway from the road , vs driving forward then turning around and driving forward out of the property
Well, at least he "backed first". I can guarantee he only did that once, though.
