Thanks guys. I think it needs to be turned down until he's ready to build the trans though. I could feel the converter clutch chattering at the top of 5th gear.

Ya my converter does that too. IDK what the heck causes that, but it's getting worse. :thumb:

the speed on the sighn was 118, it looked liked he let off at the 1000' when i seen him run, it dont seem right, they were having problems with the electrical system on the track.

Well, since this race is coming up next weekend, I figured I'd update on dad's truck. Now that my truck is running is doing all the driving in his truck. He raced it in the bracket class at the NHRDA race a few months ago and ended up losing in the finals to Michael Pilska (the guy that races the Dirtymax truck). He now has a built transmission that I put together with parts from Big Dipper, and we just put an Air Dog II 165 on tonight. He's going to stay pretty conservative on the drag racing in hopes of being a little more consistent, but he wanted the lift pump on so he can really turn it up for the sled pull.

OK Josh what your Dad going to say when you have to build his Tranny?
