Heh. Wouldn't you like to know
Why is that?

What Bdsankey said, Can you elaborate on your opinion?

A lot of the information that was released in the video was based on speculation and not actual data as the data was never collected. No boost or drive pressure information was collected. No EGT data. I mean, even the comments about the valve springs poundage could have been easily tested but wasn't. There should have been much more care taken in the testing. IMO those heads should have really started to shine in the higher RPMs but it was never ran past 3300. The only data that was collected was MAX HP/TQ output and it wasn't consistently loaded on the dyno between the tests. (I was standing there gritting my teeth the entire time)

I personally was very upset with the outcome of this test. The testing for it was RUSHED and not enough due diligence was taken to give actual results or information that people should be basing their decisions off of.

The test should be re-done but it will probably never happen.

Just thought I'd add my $0.02 of truth to the story. The "results" from that video should be taken with a grain of salt until a proper test can be ran.

He didn’t test his rods, I was expecting much from the head test :roflmao:

I bit the bullet and ordered a set of Edelbrock heads. Hoping to put them on a flow bench along with my SoCal stage 2 heads and see how they flow.

Are you planning on doing any additional porting to the Edelbrock heads? Or determine that after you see flow numbers

Looks like Edelbrocks claims of 25% better flow than stock seems pretty spot on. I’m planning on doing some blending and radiusing the intake ports and will have them reflowed. I pretty sure they will be right there with the SoCal stage 2’s.

I found this info from Wagler that backs up the stock flow numbers I posted above.
